Upcoming Public Policy Events
The Chamber has three exciting upcoming policy events to connect members with regional government leaders.
First, join us at a reception honoring Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter’s Cabinet on Monday, April 20 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Crystal Tea Room in the Wanamaker Building in Center City. This is a unique opportunity for business leaders throughout Greater Philadelphia to mingle with members of the Mayor’s core team. To register click here.

Then, join us in Harrisburg for the Pennsylvania Legislative Reception on Monday, May 4 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Business executives from across the Commonwealth will welcome members of Pennsylvania General Assembly and key members of the Rendell Administration in the Keystone Building Atrium. More than 300 elected and appointed officials are invited to attend. Additionally, this year’s event includes an hour long seminar preceding the reception at 4:00 p.m. featuring remarks by prominent members of the General Assembly. The seminar, which includes an audience question and answer portion, is a valuable opportunity for candid interaction with House and Senate leaders on issues facing your business, including the state budget, corporate tax structure, and healthcare. The Pennsylvania Legislative Reception is presented in partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce. The seminar is sponsored by Verizon and Verizon Wireless.
Finally, the Chamber will honor elected county officials from Philadelphia and surrounding Pennsylvania counties on Wednesday, May 13 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill, PA. Guests invited to the County Leadership Luncheon include the Mayor of Philadelphia, the Board of Commissioners of Bucks, Chester and Montgomery Counties, and the Delaware County Council.
